What totally and completely blew me away is that these books are edible. And if that's not enough they have chocolate in them ~ YES ~ chocolate! The wonderful site is called Margaret's Workshop and the lady, Margaret, makes all of these incredible, edible, absolutely beautiful cakes and treats. I am so jealous of someone who is that artistic and can make such gorgeous creations. The details on the cakes are amazing. She has pictures of some that she entered in contests and the work that must have gone into them is unbelievable. And to think my kids are impressed when I make brownies!

LOL ~ yep, got rid of the purple. It just wasn't working for me.
ReplyDeleteThe books are covered with fondant but I don't think I could eat them ~ too pretty.
The cakes are so artistic and creative.
ReplyDeleteI love decorative food and even spend my weekends watching Food Network Challenges hoping that I will catch something like cake decorating or sugar sculpture challenges, so you can imagine how cool these edible books are to me.
But ugh to the fondant. It makes a cake pretty, but I don't like the way it tastes. :p

Oh, I love watching those cake decorating contests. The ones where they have two people working on it and it takes both of them to carry the creations to the judges table. I always worry they're going to drop it. lol
