  5. Lori ~ purple is my favorite color but it sure is bright!

Danielle ~ have you heard anything about her next contemp? I couldn't find anything on it. Since two historicals this year maybe no contemp until next year?

Wena ~ Leo - *sigh* Can't wait for his story. :)

Hils ~ double dose this summer! :)

  6. Hmmm, I like the stepbacks, but I don't like how the covers are different from the first two books... and the colors? A bit meek no, given the personality of our characters?

  9. nath ~ I don't know why the covers changed. These don't really fit with the first three.

  10. On Kleypas's official website, under the FAQ page says she is working on a "new contemporary series called the 'Friday Harbor' series, set in San Juan Island, off the Washington coast."
She says she'll start writing that one once she's finished the 'Hathaways' series - so probably 2011.

  11. Thanks for sharing the covers! I agree with Nath, that these covers are different from the first two. I wonder why the deviation in the covers mid-series...and, wow, we are getting the books back to back monthly! I wasn't aware of that before.

  12. Thanks Danielle! I had only looked in the Contemporary and Sneak Peeks sections. :)

Tabitha ~ I didn't know about the back to back releases either. Love when authors do that. :)

  13. Thanks for these covers, Leslie!

I think I like the style of the first 3 covers better, but I'm just thrilled we're getting 2 in a row like that.

@Danielle87: Thanks for that info! I've been dying to find out about her next contemporary.
Wow, I thought she was going to do a little more on the Travis family, though.

  15. Oh my goodness! I have a lot of catching up to do with Lisa's historicals!!! Need... More... TIME!

Oh and hey. Did anyone notice the photo of Lisa and one of her fans on her contemporary page at her website? .... *whistles* ;)

  17. Always annoying when they change the designs of the covers... How hard is it for a series to have the same cover design?!?

  18. nath ~ looking at the first three, which, IMO were beautiful, I don't know why they would make the change. It's not an open-ended series so why change?

  19. You know, the covers looks very old school for some reasons :(

  20. nath ~ old school or like the re-releases with the "special low price".
